Sewer Lair Renovation: This Week's Training Room Upgrade
Club members ranked their top three lair upgrades this month — and the results might surprise you.
Another week, another round of lair-improvement chaos. This time the club's "renovation committee" (three members, one very opinionated group chat) tackled the training room, and honestly? We're impressed.
Top 3 upgrades, ranked
- The rooftop-style balance beams. Someone finally figured out how to simulate rooftop-to-rooftop gaps indoors without anyone actually falling into a subway tunnel. Ten out of ten, zero injuries reported.
- A proper nunchaku practice corner. Padded walls, mirrors, and a strict "watch your elbows" rule posted right at the entrance.
- The pizza recovery station. Not technically training equipment, but the committee insisted it counts as "morale infrastructure." We're not going to argue.
Training tip of the week
Footwork before flash. It's tempting to go straight for the big combo moves, but every member who's been at this a while says the same thing: get your stance solid first. Speed and style come naturally once the basics stop requiring conscious thought.
Community shoutout
Big respect to everyone who submitted lair-design sketches this month. The sewer-grate skylight idea in particular had the whole club talking — turns out you *can* get decent natural light down there if you're clever about it.
Got a lair upgrade of your own? Drop it in the comments. Bonus points if it somehow involves more pizza storage.
